In a visit to Prague earlier this fall, Yo-Yo Ma was honored to receive the Antonín Dvořák Prize, and in the coming months, he will celebrate the composer with performances of the iconic Cello Concerto.

First among these will be with the Waco Symphony led by conductor Stephen Heyde on October 15, at Waco Hall. The following evening, October 16, Ma performs alongside the San Antonio Symphony and conductor Sebastian Lang-Lessing at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.  And on Sunday, October 18, he joins the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Ken Lam in a special concert to open the new Gaillard Performance Hall.

On December 7, Yo-Yo Ma will give an account of the Cello Concerto with the Victoria Symphony led by Tania Miller at the Royal Theater.  And to finish out his 2015 concert schedule, on December 11, Ma is the featured guest at the Hult Center with the Eugene Symphony Orchestra and conductor Danail Rachev.
