This summer, Yo-Yo Ma returns to the Berkshires for solo, chamber, and orchestral performances at Tanglewood, in Lenox, Massachusetts.

On August 6, Yo-Yo joins Emanuel Ax and Leonidas Kavakos to perform an all-Beethoven program of trios for piano, violin, and cello.

And in the 18th stop in his two-year Bach Project, Yo-Yo brings the complete Bach cello suites to the Koussevitzky Music Shed on August 11. Alongside the concert, he will collaborate with local culture makers and community members in a Day of Action (details to be announced). Learn more about the Bach Project here.

The next week, on August 18, Yo-Yo joins the Boston Symphony Orchestra and conductor François-Xavier Roth. They perform Schumann’s Cello Concerto in an evening that also includes the Schumann’s Concert Piece for four horns and orchestra and Brahms’s Serenade No. 1.
