Following the release of their new album “Songs from the Arc of Life,” Yo-Yo Ma and long-time collaborator Kathryn Stott embark on a tour to Japan and Taiwan.

On Monday, October 26, the duo appear at Tokyo’s Suntory Hall, where they perform Shostakovich’s Sonata in D Minor, Sollima’s Il Bell’Antonio, and Franck’s Cello Sonata in A Major, in addition to a suite of pieces from their new album.

Ma and Stott continue their Japanese tour with performances on October 27 at Nagoya’s Aichi Art Center and on October 28 at Osaka’s Symphony Hall. Following their time in Japan, they travel to Taiwan for appearances in Taipei at the Taipei National Concert Hall on October 30, in Taichung on October 31, and in Tainan on November 1.

The duo reunite later this fall at Boston Symphony Hall for a concert on November 17, and on November 18, they present a recital at the Carmel Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana.
