The Chicago Tribune has a great article about Yo-Yo's visit there, saying "The world-renowned cellist and CSO creative consultant arrives Thursday for almost a week of activities with Chicago institutions as he continues working to elevate the role of culture in our everyday lives. As usual there will be performances and public appearances: He and his Silk Road Ensemble will make their first Symphony Center appearance since 2007 on Saturday night for a program that includes Dimitri Yanov-Yanovsky's "Sacred Signs," written to mark the centennial of Igor Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring.""

The Goat Rodeo Sessions has sold over 160,000 albums, debuted at #23 on the Billboard Top 200 chart (Yo-Yo Ma’s highest debut), #1 on Billboard’s Classical Crossover and Classical Overall charts, and debuted and remained at #1 for 11 weeks on the Billboard Bluegrass chart. THE GOAT RODEO DELUXE EDITION comes out on October 22, just in time for the holidays, and features an expanded version of the CD plus a DVD packed with live performances and rare glimpses inside the recording studio. The CD includes the original best-selling album with five additional songs: two studio tracks and three songs recorded live at House of Blues in Boston. The DVD features five in-studio performance videos filmed during the album’s recording sessions, along with artist interviews and extensive behind the scenes footage. The album is available to order today at Amazon.
