This November Yo-Yo Ma joins longtime collaborators and friends to explore musical perspectives on the cultures of Brazil, Russia, India, and China. Concerts take place on November 11 in Bloomington, Indiana; November 14 in Naples, Florida; and November 15 in Miami, Florida.
The programs feature a diverse ensemble of musicians with whom Ma has delved into the musical and cultural traditions of Europe, Latin America and the Silk Road: pianist Kathryn Stott, guitarists Sérgio and Odair Assad, violinist Johnny Gandelsman, sheng virtuoso Wu Tong and tabla player Sandeep Das.
